Place the freezer bowl upright in the freezer below −0.4°F / −18°C for at least 8 hours — overnight is best. For the firmest, creamiest texture, freeze it for 24+ hours. If your first batch comes out runny, re-freeze the bowl for 12+ hours and churn again.
Each batch makes up to 2L (about 2.1 quarts) — enough for 6–12 servings, depending on scoop size. That's plenty for a family night or a small gathering, with no need to run multiple cycles.
Expect 25–35 minutes of churning once you pour in your chilled mix. Prep your ingredients and chill them to 5–10°C in the fridge beforehand so the bowl stays cold.
The removable parts — freezer bowl, paddle, and lid — are dishwasher-safe on the top rack. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Always let the freezer bowl come fully to room temperature before washing so it doesn't crack.
No. The double-insulated freezer bowl does the freezing work on its own once it's been pre-frozen. No ice, no salt, no mess — just pour in your chilled mix and churn.
Gelato, sorbet, frozen yogurt, and dairy-free treats — anything you can mix and chill. You control every ingredient, so it's easy to keep it low-sugar, high-protein, or fully plant-based.
